Dr. Nicholas Mayer completed his Internal Medicine training and Nephrology fellowship in town at St. Louis University Hospital. He specializes in the management of kidney diseases, hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, and kidney stones. Born and raised in St. Louis, he hopes to improve the community that helped to raise and train him. In his free time he is usually doing exactly what his wife and three girls tell him to do.

Dr. Donovan Polack received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Emory University, followed by his Nephrology training at the United States Air Force, Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio Texas.

Dr. Donovan Polack has been in private practice in North St Louis County for the past 25 years. He is now excited to help start a new Kidney/Renal/Hypertension group in the area; St Louis Kidney Care.

Dr. Christopher Abeid graduated with a medical degree from University of Nairobi in Kenya and did his internal Medicine Residency at GBMC and John Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Abeid did his Nephrology Fellowship at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. He has specialist recognition in Hypertension by American Society of Hypertension (ASH).

Chris has interest in delivering quality based care in all aspects of Nephrology and Hypertension.

In his free time, Chris and Family like exploring new places, making new acquaintances and traveling.

Dr. Sameed Lodhi completed his Internal Medicine training at Carle Foundation Hospital, IL, followed by Nephrology training at The University of North Carolina under the supervision of some of the nation's best nephrologists, including Dr. Falk. 

Dr. Lodhi specializes in the management of chronic kidney disease, ADPKD, hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, kidney stones and glomerulonephritis. He was born in Saudi Arabia, raised in Canada and completed his medical education in the oldest medical University in Pakistan, King Edward Medical University. Travelling around the world, Dr. Lodhi loves learning about different cultures. In his free time, he spends time with his family, loves eating different cuisines, plays cricket and soccer, and has a great interest in beatboxing.

Dr. Sarah Sundet was born and raised in the Midwest and obtained her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed both her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Nephrology at Ohio University, Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

Dr. Sundet’s special practice interests include: Chronic kidney disease management, prevention and education; Hypertension; Acute kidney injury; Medical kidney stone management and prevention; Glomerulonephritis; End Stage Renal Disease. 

When not caring for patients, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with family, watching or attending all kinds of sporting events and traveling to new places.

Annette Hood is an Adult Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and licensed in the states of Missouri and Illinois. She received her degree in Nursing in 1980, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Management in 1988, a Master’s in Nursing Science in 1995, a Post Master’s Diploma as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1997, and completed a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2013.

Annette has over 18 years of experience with chronic kidney disease (CKD), transplant and dialysis and possesses a unique combination of strong nursing and clinical practice skills.  Annette works to empower her patients in self/chronic care-management and is actively engaged in education and mentoring of nurses and all healthcare disciplines through various adjunct teaching positions, professional speaker bureaus and community service organizations. 

Jennifer French is an Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, National Certification Board. Jennifer graduated from Jefferson College with an associate degree in nursing in 2002, her bachelor's degree in nursing from University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2015 and obtained her master’s in nursing from Maryville University in 2018.

Jennifer worked in the emergency department and in family medicine for 10 years. She served as a hemodialysis nurse for 2 years and worked in a nephrology clinic after becoming a nurse practitioner. Jennifer is focused on hypertension management and chronic kidney disease and finds great joy in caring for the adult geriatric community. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking with her husband and 4 children, all of which are very active in academics, sports, and music.
